Corporate Social Investments Criteria for selection of initiatives:
- Alignment with Liberty’s education focus area(s)
- Needs of the community
- Proposed outcome of the initiative
- Measurable impacts
- The potential to involve Liberty employees and/or business units
Initiatives will only be considered if they meet the following criteria:
- Education-related
- Designed to promote financial literacy
- Designed to support groups rather than individuals
Liberty will not consider initiatives that do not meet the requirements above, such as:
- Organisations that are not registered charities or Non-Profit-Organisations (NPO's)
- Political campaigns or candidates
- Sporting tours or events
- Individual bursaries or scholarships
- Conferences and gala-dinners
- Building or renovation projects
- Church-building projects
- Profit-making organisations
- Publications and endowment funds
